Remake of a previous video, this time in HD with better audio and atmosphere. These are my "go-to" homemade fire starters. They're the "best" to me because of the long burn time (at least twice that of a regular petroleum jelly coated cotton ball), the flame height (which is key to getting wet wood to light) and the ease of lighting (can be done even with a ferro rod with no problem). And as you see, they're not too hard to make either. I also test the burn time of the worst of our batch versus a standard petroleum jelly saturated cotton ball.
