Today, I was rejected by the store manager to pay my card debt with Canadian Legal cash tender notes issued by the Canadian government.

The manager refused Canadian cash to pay my bill and said I can call a help phone-number instead of paying my debt to their credit-card bank system. This is a legitimate bank within Canada.
