A devastating flood sweeps cars and buildings away in Barretos, São Paulo, Brazi.mp4

The city of Barretos, in the interior of São Paulo, was hit by heavy rains this Thursday afternoon. According to the city hall, the storm reached more than 130 mm in some neighborhoods of the city, causing flooding and destroying parts of the asphalt. A bridge also gave way, a pump house flooded and a water main broke. Water supply was interrupted in at least six districts of the municipality. With that, Mayor Paulo Lemos decided to declare a state of public calamity.
