The French classic, Les Misérables, by Victor Hugo, was first published in 1862. As for Orson Welles' masterpiece radio drama version, possibly his very best radio work, it was originally broadcasted in 7 parts, beginning in the summer of 1937; And I personally took the liberty of editing and assembling all parts together into one, along with a few rare illustrations. (Old time radio shows are in the public domain, and no one can legally claim any copyrights over them)
