Kyiv has repeatedly called on Germany to supply Ukraine with battle tanks to be able to defend itself against Russian attacks.

Germany is pushing ahead with the delivery of tanks and other heavy equipment from its stockpiles. Among other things, 50 anti-aircraft Cheetah tanks or Flakpanzer Gepard and seven self-propelled howitzer 2000s will be delivered to Ukraine.
