2012 KTM250SX Water Pump Seal Replacement Part 2 10-30-2020

Probably worth mentioning again that I only put enough tape over the shaft sharp edges and indexing flats so that after the seal was fully seated it would not cover or sit on top of the protective tape. If you tape the shaft to long and not in the right orientation some of it may get trapped between the seal and shaft and that's not good! The shaft was cleaned with brake cleaner so that the tape would stick and not slide out of position. I'm not recommending that this is how you should do it but only showing how I did it.
