2012 KTM250SX Water Pump Seal Replacement! 10-25-2020

Went to do some routine maintenance in preparation to park the bike while I rotate to another one. When I pulled the oil drain plug the oil came out a milky white tan... coolant mixed in with the oil! It wasn't much but still noticeable. Two strokes only use coolant for the top end of the bike (cylinder and head) but the water pump is driven off the clutch side gear set which is part of the transmission. The only thing preventing coolant from the pump from mixing with the transmission oil is the seal shown in the video. The radiator coolant level really wasn't down at all so I must have just caught it when it first started. Always seems to be a silver lining with the bad luck! Lol!
