I invented a pretty cool thiong by accident for my kayak last year. It was Pouring in the middle of an 11 mile run and i got out my umbrella. After the storm cleared I paddled back out from uder the treee and the wind caught my umbrella and turned me up river and I started hauling ass! Making a wake! One guy yelled out "that's genius" and another one I passed on a raft yelled Brilliant!" Easily steerable by putting to opposite side of center of the way you want to turn.. sweet. I'm heading on a kayaking vacation one week from tomorrow. Gonna do some class I II and III's. Youghegehney River in western PA. I was just working on this afternoon. It's a fishing kayak. I fish in the Susquehanna River all summer. I have a little 14' runabout to get up through the rocks too but kayaking is my favorite.
